Spatial View is a leading developer of Stereoscopic and Auto-stereoscopic 3D software and associated hardware for mobile and PC viewing and print applications. With its headquarters in Toronto, Canada and Dresden, Germany Spatial View is looking for a qualified software developer to join their team in Dresden, to be an integral member of the team that builds Spatial View’s print and other software products.

We are looking for a software developer who has strong computer science fundamentals and solid experience with industry-standard technologies to join our elite team of product development professionals. We are looking for an innovative software developer who will contribute to the development of applications and implement core technologies.

Responsibilities
Develop innovative and high quality software as part of a small and highly skilled development team:

• Interface with Product Manager and Team Lead to gather and implement requirements
• Solve complex problems and assure software quality.
• Deliver projects on-time and to specification.
• Develop automated functional tests if required.
• Collaborate with technical writers to create customer-relevant documentation.

Requirements
Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in software product development using several of the following skills and technologies:

• At least two years experience with C++
• Fundamentals of computer science: object-oriented thinking, design patterns etc
• Video and image processing
• Experience in parallel computing (GLSL, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenMP)
• Application development frameworks such as Nokia’s Qt to implement the following:
• GUI layout and components
• Application functionality and workflow
• Integrated, context sensitive help system
• Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Mac OS and Linux)with embedded OS, gcc, Xcode an asset
• Desire to grow and improve as a software engineer
• Prior participation in agile software development processes
• Knowledge of content creation tools (Adobe, Autodesk) an asset
• English fluency an asset
