Ontario Govt. Supports iPhone Development

It's a hot new craze, all right! 3-D, on big theatre screens and now, smaller iPhone screens!

One of the very first 3-D apps is called Carnival Craze, and it was shown as a proof-of-concept at the Mobile World Congress recently.

It can be played and viewed in natural 3D, without glasses, on an Apple iPhone equipped with a 3DeeShell from Canadian manufacturer Spatial View.

With seed money from the Ontario government, and help from developers at Spatial View, the Canadian TV broadcaster Family Channel, and the Sheridan College Visualization Design Institute, the glasses-free 3D mini game was developed for the iPhone.
