Can the SVI PowerPlayer work on the following platforms—Windows XP/Vista/Mac/Linux?
Currently, the SVI PowerPlayer is only available for Windows XP

What is the resolution of my SVI 3D-monitor?
SVI MU0808 -> 1024 x 768
SVI MU1913 -> 1280 x 1024
SVI MU3210 -> 1360 x 768
SVI MU4621 -> 1920 x 1080
Wazabee MU1913WG -> 1440 x 900

Can I connect the SVI-monitor with a VGA-cable?
No. We recommend using the DVI-cable that comes with the monitor.

Can I run the SVI-monitor with another resolution than the native?
No.

Do I have to install the DirectX from the CD?
Yes, please.

Which graphic card vendors do you support? For example: Nvidia; ATI/AMD; SiS; Matrox; Intel Graphic Cards/Chip
Currently we support Nvidia only.

Do I need special glasses for the displays?
No, that’s the entire benefit of going with Spatial View. You get a complete 3D experience without glasses.

My system doesn’t work. Who can I contact?

What is "Codemeter"?
That is the software needed for the dongle, usually it’s installed automatically, if not, please install it from the CD/DVD.

Can I use my Spatial View monitor for 2D?
Generally yes, but it is not the same image-quality you see with a 2D-display, because Spatial View displays are optimized for 3D.

Can I run Multi-User content on a Single-User display?
Yes.

Can I run Single-User content on a Multi-User display?
No.

Which formats may 3D-models have to show them on SVI displays?
The SVI PowerPlayer supports VRML 2.0, OBJ and 3ds files.

My SVI PowerPlayer shows images but video doesn’t work.
Please make sure, that the needed video codecs are installed.

How can I get the version information of the SVI PowerPlayer?
There are different ways to get it:

  • In the menu “Help” -> “About” -> “?-Key”,
  • Right-click the “PowerPlayer.exe” and check the properties.
