At CeBIT 2007, Spatial View of Toronto/Dresden and VisuMotion GmbH of Jena agreed to cooperate strategically on future development and sales of 3D hardware and software.

The goal of this agreement is to provide the customers with made-to-measure perfect solutions for glasses-free 3D presentation.

Parallel developments will be avoided. Both teams will use consistent formats for the saving and replaying of 3D data to further an open standardization for 3D videos and images.

VisuMotion will act as a non-exclusive dealer of Spatial View's range of products, specifically the auto-stereoscopic displays, combining them with VisuMotion software for the creation and replay of 3D content. Spatial View, too, is exploring the combination of VisuMotion software and Spatial View products.

In the next weeks, representatives of both companies will hold detailed talks on common development projects, especially in the area of software development, and propose joint projects.

Synchronizing and bundling of the two companies' forces will lead to considerable synergy from which customers will benefit.

The demand for glasses-free stereoscopic viewing is rapidly rising, particularly in the fields of advertising and information, games, medicine and R&D. Steadily increasing numbers of 3Ddisplays have been sold in the last few years; market observers predict strong growth rates for 3D presentation systems.
